HVC系列程控维氏硬度计有六种型号:分别为10kg手动及自动转塔维氏硬度计、30kg手动及自动转塔维氏硬度计、50kg手动及自动转塔维氏硬度计，是采用精密机械和传感器及光、电、计算机软件程序控制相结合的新型硬度测试仪。该硬度计改变了传统硬度计用砝码重量作为试验力加载的方式，从而简化了硬度计结构，提高了硬度计的自动程度和综合精度，是国内目前最为先进的一台用计算机控制的维氏硬度计。它可用于测试金属的维氏或努氏硬度，通过把测量的对角线值输入到一体化计算器，从而计算出硬度值。D型还拥有测量物镜与压头自动切换装置。

    该硬度计应用范围广，即适用于测量微小、薄形及表面渗镀层处理后的零件，也适用于一般机械零件测试，显微维氏硬度试验更能进行材料金相组织及脆性材料的硬度测量。是工厂及质检部门进行研究测试的理想的硬度测试仪器。
